Let’s have patience with awkward beginnings and recognize that, as in all things, growing solid friendships and communities takes time.
Sometimes it can be so easy to reflect on all that we’re up against rather than all that brought us here.
Is letting our faith simmer to a more comfortable, dulled down version really all there is? When I was set on fire at that retreat, I thought I signed up for more.
